Hand-Forged File Steel Fixed Blade Skinner Knife with Multi-Material Composite Handle and Leather Sheath - A custom-made fixed-blade hunting or skinning knife featuring a full tang construction handcrafted from a repurposed metal steel file. The blade retains the distinctive cross-hatch rasp texture of the original file on both sides of the flats, paired with a drop-point profile and a visible secondary bevel for the cutting edge. The multi-part decorative handle scales consist of a forward section of green dyed stabilized wood or composite material, separated from the rear by a thin red and brass spacer. The rear section of the handle is composed of laminated wood scales showing black, green, and natural wood tones. The scales are secured to the tang with two brass pins and one circular brass and resin decorative mosaic pin located on the rear section. This mosaic pin features a three-lobed or trefoil pattern in green against a brass background. A brass-lined lanyard hole is located at the pommel. Accompanied by a brown leather sheath featuring a stamped border pattern and hand-stitched construction. No maker's marks, signatures, or tang stamps are visible on the metal or handle materials.
