Southwest Style Thunderbird Motif Watch Band with Stainless Steel Expansion Strap - A vintage American-made Southwest style watch band consisting of two decorative metal watch tips mounted on a stainless steel expansion link bracelet. Each curved watch tip features an inlaid mosaic Thunderbird motif, utilizing crushed turquoise and coral-toned materials. The decorative panels are embellished with stamped or cast scrolled patterns and geometric borders. The expansion links are manufactured in the United States, as indicated by repeated stamped characters on the underside of each link reading USA along with a numeric prefix that appears to be 750 (photo 6). The decorative tips are fashioned from a silver-toned metal alloy; no hallmarks for sterling silver or specific maker names are visible on the ornamental components. The tips are designed with hollow cylindrical tubes for attachment to a watch head via spring bars.
