Native American Style Polychrome Ceramic Wedding Vase with Legend Tag - A ceramic wedding vase featuring the traditional double-spouted form joined by a bridge handle. The vessel is constructed from hand-formed clay and finished with a mottled, smoked surface achieved through fire-pit firing techniques. The exterior is decorated in a polychrome palette of red, yellow, and green, utilizing sgraffito or incised outlining to define geometric and architectural motifs, including stylized pueblo dwellings and stepped patterns. The spouts are finished with a dark, contrasting slip or paint along the rims. Attached to the handle by an orange cord is a triangular cardboard hang-tag with a blue and red design, featuring the printed text THE LEGEND OF on one side. The base of the vase shows evidence of hand-incised characters, possibly a maker's signature, but these marks are worn and are not legible as a name or specific identifier.
