Southwestern Style Hand Painted Earthenware Wedding Vase - A contemporary Southwestern style earthenware wedding vase featuring a double-spouted form. The vessel is constructed with two tapered necks joined by a solid bridge handle, tapering down into a bulbous, slightly flattened body. The piece is finished in a matte, cream-colored slip and decorated with hand-painted geometric motifs in brown, orange-red, and green mineral pigments. The decorative program includes stepped cloud patterns, triangles, fine-line hatching, and a central arched panel containing a floral rosette. The base is flat and unglazed. A single small dark dot is visible near the center of the underside (photo 5), but no maker's name, signature, hallmark, or country-of-origin mark is legible on the object. The interior of the spouts shows the natural reddish-brown tone of the earthenware body (photo 6).
