A. Harris Signed Stoneware Studio Pottery Vase Dated 1999 - This tall, cylindrical stoneware vase features a hand-formed or modified wheel-thrown construction with an organic, undulating profile. The exterior is finished with a mottled and speckled reactive glaze in shades of olive green and brown, while the interior shows a similar glazed surface. The vase possesses a wide, flared, and slightly irregular rim and tapers down to a flared, unglazed foot that reveals a light cream-colored clay body. The underside of the piece is incised with the hand-written signature A HARRIS above the numerals 11 99, signifying a production date of November 1999. Diameter of base: 3.75 inches.
