Signed Johnson Studio Pottery Stoneware Pitcher Dated 1996 - A hand-thrown stoneware pitcher featuring a bulbous lower body, a tapered neck, and a tri-corner rim pinched to form a spout. The vessel is fitted with a wide, curved strap handle. The exterior is decorated with a layered glaze that transitions from a light teal-blue at the rim to a deep cobalt blue on the neck and a mottled, speckled slate-blue on the body. The unglazed buff-colored stoneware base features incised markings, including the numerals 96 and a cursive signature reading Johnson. Height: 7 inches.
