Large Chinoiserie Transfer-Printed Ceramic Storage Jar - A large, cylindrical storage jar made of heavy ceramic earthenware. The exterior is finished with a cream-colored glaze and decorated with Chinoiserie-style transfer prints in green, red, and yellow. The decorative scheme consists of four panels featuring East Asian landscape scenes, including pagodas, stylized trees, and figures, bordered by green geometric fretwork. The vessel features a slightly flared rim and a flat, unglazed reddish-brown base. A faint blue circular stamp is present on the side of the jar; while the circular outline is visible, the interior characters or symbols are not legible. The interior is glazed and shows a pitted texture. Height: Approximately 11.75 inches.
