An Assortment of Western Leather Horse Tack Including Headstalls, Bits, and a Tooled Breast Collar - A collection of Western equestrian equipment consisting of several leather headstalls, bits, and a matching breast collar. The breast collar is crafted from heavy reddish-brown leather featuring an embossed floral scroll pattern. It includes large circular metal rings at the primary junctions and a narrow leather attachment strap with a small metal buckle. The headstalls are constructed from similar reddish-brown leather. One headstall is fitted with a jointed curb bit featuring shanks and a curb chain; the mouthpiece has a copper finish. Another headstall assembly includes a long-shanked bit with a noseband portion that has been reinforced with a layer of grey adhesive tape. The leather components throughout the lot show varying degrees of surface wear and aging. No maker marks, stamps, or labels are legible on the leather or metal hardware of any item in this collection.
