Sears Craftsman Industrial 3/8-Inch Cordless VSR Drill and Driver Set - A Chinese-made Sears Craftsman Industrial cordless power tool set. The collection consists of a 3/8-inch drill/driver, a 9.6V fast charger, and two 9.6V battery packs, all contained within a black molded plastic carrying case. The drill features a variable speed reversible function and is constructed from textured black plastic and metal components. The charger features green and red LED indicator lights and a black power cord. Several printed and molded marks are present. One side of the drill body bears a printed label reading CRAFTSMAN INDUSTRIAL 3/8-in. Drill/Driver and FORWARD near the trigger (photo 5). The reverse side features a detailed technical label reading 3/8-in. Drill/Driver VSR 0-600 RPM, USE ONLY BATTERY PACK 315.111081, MADE IN CHINA, and Sears Roebuck and Co. above a box containing MODEL 315.271840 (photo 4). The charger is labeled with a printed yellow and white logo reading SEARS / CRAFTSMAN INDUSTRIAL 9.6V Fast Charger and See Bottom For Caution (photo 2). Both battery packs are marked with a blue and yellow graphic reading 9.6V (photo 3). The exterior of the case is embossed with the words SEARS / CRAFTSMAN in a rectangular recess (photo 6).
