A Pair of Browning ML44-1/2 Industrial Variable Pitch Sheaves - A pair of industrial variable pitch V-belt sheaves manufactured by Browning. Each pulley is constructed from cast iron with a dark gray or black industrial finish. These sheaves utilize a threaded, two-part flange design that allows for the widening or narrowing of the belt groove to adjust the effective diameter and fine-tune machine drive speeds. One side of each sheave features integral cast lettering reading BROWNING and the model number ML44 - 1/2. The central hubs are designed with a 1/2-inch fixed bore and include a threaded hole for a setscrew to secure the component to a drive shaft.
