1923-S United States Peace Silver Dollar - A 1923 United States Peace Silver Dollar struck at the San Francisco Mint. The obverse features the left-facing profile of Liberty wearing a radiate crown, with the inscriptions LIBERTY along the top edge, IN GOD WE TRVST in the flanking fields, and the date 1923 at the bottom. The reverse depicts a bald eagle perched on a rock clutching an olive branch, with the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and E PLURIBUS UNUM above, ONE DOLLAR in the central field, and PEACE at the base. A small S mint mark is visible on the reverse near the rim, positioned below the eagle's tail feathers and above the word PEACE. The coin is composed of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper, with a standard weight of 26.73 grams and a net silver weight of 0.7734 oz. It is currently housed in a clear plastic protective slab.
