Mexican Folk Art Polychrome Carved Wood Sun Mask Wall Plaque - A large Mexican folk art wall plaque or mask, hand-carved from wood and finished with polychrome paint. The piece depicts a stylized sun face with a reddish-orange central face featuring light blue eyes and a smiling expression. The face is framed by a black band dotted with yellow, which transitions into radiating rays. The rays are decorated with segmented patterns in yellow, red, green, black, and white. The construction is hand-carved wood. The reverse side of the object bears two visible inventory stickers, one green marked 206 and one blue marked 39. Approximately 31 inches high
