Stevens Model 9478 Break Action Shotgun 12 Gauge with 28 Inch Barrel - This Stevens Model 9478 is a classic break-action single-shot shotgun chambered for 12 gauge shells. The firearm features a 28-inch barrel capable of accepting both 2 3/4 and 3-inch shells, equipped with a simple silver-colored bead front sight at the muzzle. The metal surfaces consist of a blued barrel and a case-hardened receiver, which houses the external hammer and a single trigger protected by a black plastic trigger guard. The furniture is comprised of a smooth wood buttstock and a matching forend, with the buttstock terminating in a black textured plastic buttplate. Key markings include the model designation Stevens Model 9478 and Savage Arms roll-stamped on the barrel, along with the chambering 12 Ga. 2 3/4 & 3 Inch Shells.
