Lengthy and harsh polemic letter related to visas and the controversy regarding the transfer of Yeshivas Meor Hagolah to Canada. Handwritten by Harav Chaim Witriol to Harav Yitzchak Eizik Moskowitz, one of the Roshei Yeshivah of Yeshivas Meor Hagolah.
"His honor cannot fathom the terrible fear that is here... I am unable to decide what to do because I know the truth that they know ...I'm considering traveling to Austria until this blows over."
Harsh polemic letter by one of the bachurim who arranged for visas on behalf of the yeshivah due to the yeshivah's move to Canada. It had been agreed that he would receive first and other agreements with the yeshivah staff. in this letter, he writes in distress that the other bachurim have learned of this matter and he is very afraid that they will rise up against him. He asks for the matter to be seen to as urgently as possible; otherwise, he will be forced to justify himself and publicize personal letters from the Roshei Yeshivah that he has in his possession... and this may lead to machlokes G-d forbid, especially with regard to Harav Eizik, whom the bachurim might harass rather than me (the writer) and he will be embroiled in battle. He rites: Please forgive me for all this for I have no alternative... I am hereby... loving student Chaim Witriol."
