Bas Ayin, the divrei Torah transmitted every Shabbos with ruach hakodesh by Harav Avraham Dov of Avritch and Tzefas. First complete edition of this work. Zhitomir, printed by the brothers Harav Chanina Lipa and Harav Aryeh Leib and Harav Yehoshua Heschel Shapira, descendants of the Slavita Rav. 1850. [4] 254 pgs; this copy is missing the last page. 21.5 cm. This edition is not the complete edition of the sefer. The holy words of the saintly Rav of Avritch, author of the Bas Ayin, were written by two writers. The first was Harav Meshulam Zusman of Zhitomir, who was appointed by the Bas Ayin, as he writes in the introduction: ”And the saintly Rebbe z”l zy”a commanded me to write his holy words... and I showed him what I had written and when some editing was necessary, he would do so himself...” The second was Harav Yisrael of Faltichan, who in 1847 printed the sefer in Jerusalem. In this copy, printed by Harav Meshulam Zusman, there are ma'amarim that do not appear in the Jerusalem edition, and as written in the aforementioned introduction, the Bas Ayin himself reviewed the content. The holy sefer Bas Ayin is a classic Chassidic work. Upon the instructions of Harav Yisrael of Ruzhin, it was printed in Eretz Yisrael rather than abroad (the first printing). The greatest tzaddikim were fond of this sefer. Some recommended learning it as a merit for a yeshuah, pointing out that the name of the sefer is an acronym for Yisrael nosha baHashem teshuas olamim. Harav Eliyahu Roth zt”l would say that the saintly Harav Sholomke of Zhvil zy”a was very devout in the Torah of the Bas Ayin, and he would say that his sefer was the Bas Ayin ( Yesod Tzaddik quoting Darkei Emunah by the Porisov Rebbe shlit”a ). Condition: Fair. Harav Avraham Dov of Avritch [1765 - 12 Kislev 1840] was one of the greatest Chassidic tzaddikim . He was an outstanding disciple of Harav Menachem Nochum of Chernobyl and the son-in-law of Harav Nosson Nota of Avritch, a disciple of the saintly Baal Shem Tov. Somewhere around 1830, he moved to Eretz Yisrael and settled in Tzefas. At the time of the great earthquake in Tzefas, those who stood near him in shul were miraculously saved (Harav Moshe Podhurtzer of Tzefas, quoted in Toldos Adam at the end of the 1959 Jerusalem edition of Bas Ayin. [4] 254 עמ'; בעותק זה חסר דף אחרון. 21.5 ס”מ. מהדורה זו הינה המהדורה השלימה של הספר. דברי קדשו של הרה”ק מאווריטש בעל ה'בת עין', נכתבו ע”י שני כותבים, הראשון הוא רבי משולם זוסמן מזיטומיר שמונה ע”י הרה”ק ה'בת עין', כפי שכותב בהקדמה: ”ואדמו”ר הק' ז”ל זי”ע ציוה עלי לכתוב דברי קדשו... והראתי לו מה שכתבתי ומה שהיה נצרך להגיה במקצת, בעצמו היה מגיה...”. והשני הוא רבי ישראל מפאלטישיאן, שבשנת תר”ז הדפיס את הספר בירושלים ובהוצאה שלפנינו שנדפסה ע”י רבי משולם זוסמן, ישנם מאמרים שאינם במהדורת ירושלים, וכן כפי המובא בהקדמה הנ”ל שהרה”ק ה'בית עין' עבר על הנכתב. הספר הקודש ה'בת עין' הינו אחד מספרי היסוד בתורת החסידות, ובעקבות הוראתו של האדמו”ר הרה”ק רבי ישראל מרוז'ין נדפס בארץ ישראל ולא בחו”ל(הדפוס הראשון). הספר היה חביב על גדולי הצדיקים, והיו שהמליצו לישועה ואמרו כי שם הספר הוא ר”ת: ”ישראל נושע בה' תשועת עולמים”. ”הגה”צ רבי אליהו ראטה זצ”ל היה אומר שהרה”ק מרן רבי שלום'קה מזוויהעל זיע”א היה אדוק מאוד בתורת הבת עין, ואמר שהספר שלו זה הבת עין”(ספר 'יסוד צדיק' בשם 'דרכי אמונה' לכ”ק אדמו”ר מפאריסוב שליט”א). העותק של הרה”צ רבי מענדל וועג מגדולי חסידי סלונים ושל בנו רבי ישראל ברוך, עם חותמותיהם. כריכה ישנה בלויה ומנותקת. כתמים ונקבי עש ומעט מאוד קרעים והדבקות. מצב בינוני. הרה”ק רבי אברהם דוב מאוורוטש (אבריטש) [תקכ”ה - י”ב בכסלו תר”א] מגדולי צדיקי החסידות. תלמיד מובהק להרה”ק רבי מנחם נחום מטשרנוביל. חתנו של הרה”ק רבי נתן נטע מאווריטש תלמיד מרן הבעש”ט הקדוש. בסביבות שנת תק”צ עלה לארץ הקודש ונתיישב בצפת. בזמן הרעש הגדול בצפת, כל מי שעמד במחיצתו בבית הכנסת ניצל בנס פלאי (רבי משה פודהורצר מצפת, הובא בתולדות אדם בסוף 'בת עין' מהדורת ירושלים תשי”ט, וכך כתב רבי ישעיה הלוי הורוויץ מצפת בספרו 'עדן ציון').
