19th Century Oil on Canvas Clock Painting with ingrained Music Box - 19th century oil on canvas clock picture with musical frame depicting a church with a working clock on the church steeple. Notation by the collector this oil painting was most likley painted by an art student in 1885, it has an 8 day French pendulum clock. The cylinder music box inside the frame plays 4 tunes, the 5 inch long cylinder musical movement is started by pull knobs on the bottom of the frame. Painting has a minor one inch tear on the middle top in the clouds, appears to have been repaired from the back, also has some paint loss and a pin hole in the grass near the gravestone as well as minor tearing and paint loss on the bottom right. Music box tested and working clock itself untested. Measures 36 inches tall by 44 inches long protrudes from the wall 6 inches.
