A Collection of Fourteen Franklin Mint and Danbury Mint Precision Models 1:24 Scale Die-Cast Model Cars - This collection consists of twelve 1:24 scale die-cast metal model automobiles from both The Franklin and Danbury Mint, The vehicles are constructed primarily from die-cast metal with plastic and rubber components, rendered in 1:24 scale. The assortment includes a 1948 Tucker Torpedo in burgundy, a two-tone purple and white 1956 Ford Fairlane Sunliner, a 1930 Bugatti Royale Napoleon in black and red, a white 1953 Chevrolet Corvette, a metallic blue 1997 Chevrolet Corvette, a dark green 1951 Hudson Hornet, and a yellow 1986 Chevrolet Corvette. The collection further features a 1935 Mercedes-Benz 500K Special Roadster in red and black, a red 1958 Chevrolet Corvette, a 1930 Duesenberg Model J Derham Tourster in red and black, a 1948 Chrysler Town and Country Convertible with simulated wood-grain panels, a white 1960 Chevrolet Impala, a 1933 Duesenberg SJ in grey and red, and a red 1956 Ford Thunderbird. Each vehicle features functional components including opening doors, hoods, and trunks, as well as working steering. The undercarriages are marked with printed and impressed text identifying the maker as THE FRANKLIN MINT and PRECISION MODELS, alongside model-specific identifiers such as 1948 TUCKER and 1956 FORD FAIRLANE SUNLINER. Several models are marked MADE IN CHINA or CRAFTED IN CHINA. Several vehicles retain their original cardboard hang tags from the manufacturer.
