Lot of 3 Ed Berdej Miniature Studio Art Pottery Ceramic Face Jugs/Bottles - Lot of 3 Ed Berdej Miniature Studio Art Pottery Ceramic Face Jugs/Bottles - Monster, Zombie and Devil. The zombie features a dramatic melting/dripping glaze, open snarling mouth with teeth, and a signature dangling/popped eyeball detail. The googly eyed character features wide bulging eyes, a prominent sculpted nose, open mouth with buck teeth, and two small hands holding a red heart. The devil is in a deep Crimson/earthy finish with sculpted devil horns, pointed beard/goatee, fangs and decorative holes on the back. Tallest measures 3.25 inches. Ed Berdej was an American graphic artist, cartoonist and ceramic sculpture who specialized in hand- thrown high fired stoneware folk art. He grew up near the Pine Barrens which heavily influenced and inspired his creature themed art styles. All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the sale.
