This piece is an eccentric, highly detailed hand-sculpted ceramic art piece featuring a Potter at his work bench shaping a whimsical, toothy monster - face jug. Surrounded by miniature pottery jars, A dog, a pottery wheel, and colorful marbles on a round green base. A pipe is loose - unsure if it goes with the piece. Also the head comes off - Unsure of purpose. Measures 11.75 inches tall by 7 inches wide. Ed Berdej was an American graphic artist, cartoonist and ceramic sculpture who specialized in hand- thrown high fired stoneware folk art.
