Lot of 2 Salt Glazed Stoneware Miniature Jugs - Lot of 2 Salt Glazed Stoneware Miniature Jugs - NJ Devil and Half Moon and Seven Stars Travern. Created by Ed Berdej. Both feature high relief molded/applied folk art designs with cobalt blue accents. Jug One features a detailed winged Jersey Devil/Bat creature figure and stamped Burrsville NJ along the base. The other Jug features a rustic two-story farmhouse scene under a Crescent moon and says Flyatt NJ along the base. Largest measure six inches tall. Ed Berdej was an American graphic artist, cartoonist and ceramic sculpture who specialized in hand- thrown high fired stoneware folk art. He grew up near the Pine Barrens which heavily influenced and inspired his creature themed art styles. All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the sale.
