Vintage African Ekoi/Ejagham Style Wood Carved Crest Mask Headdress - Vintage African Ekoi/Ejagham Style Wood Carved Crest Mask Headdress. Designed to be secured to the top of a performers head. Features a stylized male face with an expressive open mouth showing carved teeth, high-arched brows, and a classic hairstyle. The head sits on an elongated neck attached to a heavy, tightly coiled Wicker/raffia basketry base with prominent attachment rings. Region is Cross River, Nigeria/Cameroon. Does have large split down the one side of head - Possibly has been repaired. Measures 19 1/2 inches tall. All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the sale.
