This is an extremely rare bronze sculpture. The standard edition was only limited to a 150 pieces. This sculpture was based on the classic 1938 Walt Disney theatrical cartoon short ”Self Control”. It features a dynamic angry Donald Duck contrasted against a smooth dark marble base. Donald is slipping on a bunched up rug while his sailor hat flies off. In front of him sits a bronze book with raised text reading ”Carl Barks Studio Features Donald Duck in Self Control by Carl Barks - Artist Bruce Lau - Sculptor. Features incise crisp replication of Carl Barks signature on the bronze rug alongside the AP7 designation. Measures 10 inches tall by 11 inches long by 6 inches wide.
