Measures 22” tall x 17” wide. A painter and illustrator, Elizabeth Hammell was born in Brooklyn, New York and married illustrator Will Hammell on Thanksgiving Day 1912. She illustrated most of Hammonds ”Encyclopedia of Plants and Animals”, and was known as the ”Flower Lady of Red Bank” because of her tremendous flower gardens and her paintings.
