Mystery Bag Surprise! Toy Drive Donation
You are bidding on a Mystery Gift Card Bag Suprise to benefit the 2022 Bodnr's Auction Toy Drive. This Mystery Bag has at least $75.00 of Gift Cards! Every year Bodnar's Auction partners with the Bayard Street Presbyterian Church to hand out as many toys as possible to the children of New Brunswick. We started this 6 years ago and each year the need grows. Last year we handed out over 550 gifts! This year, as we all know, is harder than ever for most. So many families lost their jobs during the pandemic, and so many are struggling to catch up on bills that still need to be paid. In the past 6 years, it has become obvious to us that this event is a significant one. We give out food, coats, clothing, and many other necessities throughout the year. This event provides more than just the basics; it gives a community that is struggling some hope during a season so many of us take for granted. Every year there are moments when we are handing out toys to children where they are so touched, so grateful, there is not a dry eye around. Most of the children save the toy to put under the tree so they have something to open Christmas morning. We can't count how many of those moments we have had over the years. This year it is more important than ever to dig deep and spread hope and love to these families. Please consider giving so that we can reach as many children and families this season and give them a proper holiday! The toys will be handed out at the Bayard Street Presbyterian Church on Saturday December 17th. The buyer's Premium and any taxes will not be taken off a bill because the system will not allow us to do so and we will donate all of that to the charity.
