High-polish nickel finish with engraved ”WORLD WAR II COMMEMORATIVE / PACIFIC THEATER OF OPERATIONS” slide, additional Pacific campaign and battle inscriptions and checkered wood grips with Colt medallions. Presented in fitted bamboo style wood display case with green velvet interior, commemorative plaque reading ”World War II Commemorative - Asiatic-Pacific Theater - December 7, 1941 - September 2, 1945,” cartridge-form display pieces and illustrated lid panel depicting the Japanese surrender ceremony in Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945.
