Pair Italian-Style Gilt Brass Glass Grape Sconces - Pair of mid-century Italian-style gilt brass or bronze wall sconces, each modeled with an elaborate winged mythological creature supporting a pendant cluster of multicolored glass grapes. The clustered glass spheres include cobalt blue, green, amethyst, amber and clear tones and are individually wired beneath a cast metal cap. Elaborate cast mounts feature elongated feathered wings and stylized serpentine creatures with classical and mythological influences. Each measures approximately 5-1/2” x 11” x 4”. Condition Good vintage condition with age-related patina, surface wear and areas of verdigris to the gilt metal. Glass grape clusters appear intact. Wiring needs to be updated. See images.
