Japanese Type 30 Bayonet Matsushita Arsenal - Blade measures approx. 15-1/2”, overall length 20”. This Japanese Type 30 bayonet features a fullered, blued blade with hooked quillon guard and contoured wooden grips. The ricasso is marked with the Kokura Arsenal symbol, a cluster of three circles, along with an additional inspection kanji. Includes original metal scabbard and leather frog with stitched belt loop and strap. Issued for use with Arisaka rifles, these bayonets saw widespread service throughout the Pacific theater.
