CHRIS LEHWALDER Scrimshaw Ship at Sea - Scrimshaw scene depicting a two masted ship, possibly a brig, at sea. Polychrome hand colored decoration. Signed by Chris Lehwalder center bottom. Tooth is polished on the scrimshaw side and semi rough on the verso, mounted on a custom exotic wood stand. Approx. 4-1/4” x 7-1/2”. Provenance: Obtained in the 1980s from Lahaina Scrimshaw Factory, Lahaina, Hawaii. This item can be shipped in-house. Condition: Excellent condition with naturally occuring flaws.
