Flown Apollo II Ablative Heat Shield Plug with COA - A very desirable Apollo 11 Flown to the Moon ”Ablative Heat Shield Plug” removed after the mission from the Apollo Command Module #107 better known as ”Columbia”. There were more that 500 of these installed in the Heat Shield and they were used to cover the screws attaching the Protective Thermal Barrier to the spacecraft. This one is housed in a plastic display box. Also, included in this lot is a 8” x 10” photograph of 'The First Boot Print' on the Lunar Surface, a 8” x 10” photograph of Buzz Aldrin descending to the Lunar Surface and an original Apollo 11 Log book. This lot comes with an informative COA from Space Enthusiast, Ken Havekotte. All items are in near mint condition with the Log book having slight handling wear. An exceptionally nice collection of Apollo 11 items.
