NASA Meatball Patch Beta Cloth - A full size NASA beta cloth Meatball logo patch. Following the Apollo 1 fire, NASA dictated the flammable materials were to be removed from all Apollo Spacecraft. Owens Corning Company developed Beta Cloth Material for use in the Apollo Space Suits and other equipment including Mission Emblems, American Flags, name tags and other patches. This is an original patch from the time of the Apollo Program and is in near mint condition. It measures 5 1/4” x 7 1/4” cut size.
