Earth Globe on Stand - A Rand McNally & Company 12” Lunar Globe from 1969. This Moon globe shows craters in tones of gray. The globe sits upon a plastic stand. Moon globes became popular in the 1960's as people followed the American and Soviet Space Race. This one was produced just before the Apollo 11 missions and is complete with the original plastic display stand. It is in good condition with minor material loss and a few cracks but still displays very nicely. Condition: #2021
