8 - Apollo 8 Mission Emblem Beta Cloth Patch - Eight full size NASA beta cloth Apollo 8 mission patches. Following the Apollo 1 fire, NASA dictated the flammable materials were to be removed from all Apollo Spacecraft. Owens Corning Company developed Beta Cloth Material for use in the Apollo Space Suits and other equipment including Mission Emblems, American Flags, name tags and other patches. This is an original patch from the time of the Apollo Program and are in very good condition but all have minor color registration defects. They measure 9” x 9” cut size. Condition: #102
