Gemini II Flown Heat Shield Award in a Shadow Box Display - A genuine section of Ablative Heat Shield Flown in Space on the Gemini II Test Flight in November of 1966. This section is mounted to an award presentation from what appears to be from the Air Force Space and Missile Museum, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. It has a tag attached that reads 1985 Series #010-099. It is in very good condition and is housed in a glass front shadow box. The overall size is 9” x 11”. Condition: #1001
