Clyde Tombaugh Handwritten Letters on ”The Discovery of Pluto” - There are two handwritten letters from Clyde Tombaugh who on February 18, 1930 made the announcement he had discovered a 9th planet orbiting the Sun called ”PLUTO”. These letters date from 1975 and 1985 and consist of three handwritten pages with two original signatures and the original mailing envelopes. They discuss the finding of Pluto, as well as, other related items including about his book. These letters are in very good condition and seldom seen. Condition: #2022
