Apollo 12 Atlas Centaur Launch Countdown Manual - This is a super item related to Apollo 12. This is one of the original Console used Launch Countdown manuals for the Surveyor 3 Lunar Lander, AC-12 Atlas Centaur 12). It was the Launch Vehicle for this lunar exploration mission. This document was console used and heavily notated on the launch countdown pages. It is dated to March 9, 1967 just one month before the launch. It is divided into 5 tabbed sections with preflight, launch day and mission commands. The Apollo 2 Manned Lunar Mission landed next to Surveyor 3. It removed parts from the Lander and returned them to Earth making this the only mission in history to recover parts from an unmanned spacecraft landed on another planet, the Moon. This is a truly great item in very good condition but used condition from the time of the mission. This is a 1 1/2” thick binder.
