Ultra Rare XP-92A Aircraft Film Footage Reel - This is an ULTRA RARE film footage of the XF-92A Aircraft at Edwards Air Force Base in early 1950's. The Convair XF-92A Delta Wing was first flown by Pilot Chuck Yeager on 13 October 1949. This experimental aircraft became the basic design for future Delta Wing Fighters such as the F-102 Delta Dagger, F-106 Delta Dart, B-58 Hustler, the Navy's F2Y Sea Dart, as well as, the VTOL FY Pogo. This film is in very good condition but the beginning section is mission and the length is unknown. *The images on the reel have been made visible for your viewing with the help of a lighted back board. The images shown are only a few of the first images on the reel. We are unable to photograph the entire reel.
