Early 1960's ”Destination Moon” Coin Bank by Duro - A ”Destination Moon” metal mechanical saving coin bank that is in very good working order. This one is from the Chicago Savings Bank and Loan and manufactured by Duro. It stands 11” tall and shows the moon on top of a rocket with an orbital ring around the moon that is dedicated to John Glenn and the Mercury Seven Astronauts. This bank demonstrates that the Space Program was very popular nationwide for that time.
