Gemini B Flown Manned Orbiting Lab Heat Shield Lucite Display - A section of Ablative Heat Shield from the Gemini B Spacecraft. This was part of the Manned Orbiting Laboratory Project that was going to put an American Armed Space Station into Orbit. This vintage Lucite is mounted on a wooden display stand and measures 5” x 7”. The three sided Lucite makes the display visible from all angles. This is in very good condition but there is a small chip on the back side of the Lucite.
