Robert Gray's OAO Model & Badges - A 1/32 scale model of the OAO Satellite from Launch Operations Director, Robert Gray. This vintage model was produced by NASA and originates from the time of the mission. It includes all four of Robert Grays launch and viewing badges from the mission. These badges are hard to find on their own but these cam from Robert Gray who was the Director of NASA Expendable Launch Operations at Cape Canaveral, Kennedy Space Center, Vandenberg Air Force Base. He started with Project Vandenberg in 1956. He was the Deputy Director Launch Operations for Apollo and Skylab. He was the KSC Program Director for Space Shuttle. This item is in very good condition with some missing boosters. Also, one of his tie pins is included, shown clipped to the blue viewing badge.
