18 - Mercury Spacecraft Damage & Defect Photographs 1963 - A set of quality control photographs showing the damage and defects found during construction of Spacecraft #20. These vintage NASA photographs show many of the inferior parts delivered or installed on the spacecraft and then replaced as they did not meet the rigorous specifications of NASA. These are all in very good condition with minor surface imperfections and light edge and corner wear. They measure 8” x 10”.
