Sputnik 20th Anniversary of the Space Age - Set of 6 Covers - A limited edition Sputnik 20th Anniversary cover set. Each of these covers bears the unique First Day Postmark from Baikhonur, site of the Soviet Space Launches. These are unique because this was the first time Russia ever produced a First Day Cover outside of Moscow. This is a very special set of six commemorative covers and comes in a very nice presentation binder with great informative description. The covers are in very good condition and have been keep protected in plastic sleeves. The binder is in fair to good condition showing some wear. The covers measure 5” x 7”.
