A box of cigarettes made of silver using the Nilo technique, dimensions - length 10 cm, width 7 cm, depth 2 cm.Iraq, early 20th century, made of silver, a rectangular cigarette box consisting of two shallow silver leaves connected by hinges on the wide side, while a small clip opens the box on the opposite side. The upper part is decorated with an architectural landscape, representing a mosque. The lower part is decorated with a river scene, with sailboats, boats and what looks like a floating house. A pair of palm trees stand on the left. The work is signed in small writing on the lower side, on the top left. Source: Private collection.
