Leather writing bag with brass fleck board, Bezalel, Jerusalem 1924-30, large rectangular board, covered in dark brown leather, decorated entirely with a floral pattern. Applied in the center, in a narrow opening, with a rectangular copper sheet, embedded with a drawing of a forest. Illustration for the biblical verse Proverbs 28:19: "He who works his land will have plenty of bread" The leather is embossed along the frame with a gold line and in English the inscription EARTH WORKER JERUSALEM. Height 34 cm, width 49 (flak 7.5/19 cm)
