Minnie Evans 1968 Visionary Portrait Drawing - A framed, mid-20th-century drawing on paper depicting a woman's face surrounded by symmetrical, leaf-like forms in green, yellow, pink, and blue. The work bears the inscription “Minnie Evans, april 1968” at lower right. Its patterned, visionary composition makes it a distinctive example of the style associated with Evans; the signature and date are reported as visible inscriptions, not as independent proof of authorship. The drawing appears to combine colored pencil with dark pencil outlines and shading. It is presented behind glazing with a white mat in a pink-painted frame with gilt-colored trim.
