Glazed Ceramic Foo Dog Guardian Lion Sculpture - A sculptural glazed ceramic figure of a foo dog, or guardian lion, shown seated with an open mouth, prominent teeth, and a richly modeled mane and curled decorative details. The warm brown and amber glaze has mottled greenish and darker accents, with glossy highlights across the relief surface. The figure is freestanding and presents a dramatic, frontal expression; The style draws on traditional East Asian guardian-lion imagery, but the visible evidence does not establish a specific period or place of manufacture.
