Carl Folke Sahlin Watercolor Painting of Couple with Bota Bag - This vintage watercolor painting depicts a Spanish couple, likely from the early to mid-20th century, rendered with a vibrant palette. The man is shown holding a traditional bota bag, a classic Spanish wineskin, and smoking a pipe, while the woman wears a white headscarf. The composition captures a moment of daily life or a cultural scene, characteristic of genre painting. The artwork is signed by Carl Folke Sahlin, but the style suggests a trained hand. The second image shows an unfinished sketch, possibly a preparatory work or a related piece, featuring multiple figures in traditional attire, with some elements like hats and a bota bag partially colored.
