Mefisto - The third book of Uri Zvi Greenberg, first published, in Lvov [Lemberg] in 1921. This is the most important book of the poet in Yiddish, it's considered to an extreme expression of expressionist Nihilism that puts the devil and evil rulers of the world after the horror of the First World War. In 1922 Uri Zvi Greenberg printed in Warsaw the second edition of his book "Mefisto", the new edition was prepared with great elegance and was accompanied by a portrait of the author, by the artist Henrik Berlawi.
