PAIR OF RUSSIAN IMPERIAL PORCELAIN CANDELABRAS - A pair of large antique Russian hand-painted porcelain seven-light candelabras by the Imperial Porcelain Factory. Dated ca. 1860s. Model by A.K. Shpis, molded by A.K. Lukin. Elaborate foliate scrolls and rocaille shellwork, biscuit porcelain putti, landscape panels. Gilt details. Embossed marks and moulder's signature on the bottom. Condition The pair of chandeliers appears to be in very good overall condition. Each chandelier is a complex structure composed of many assembled elements. Minor chips may be observed on some components, and one putto has a small hairline crack on the leg. One small brass tube element is missing; however, this does not affect the overall stability of the construction. The bronze fittings are numbered, and all numbers match. Gilding is very well preserved, with only minor spots consistent with age and wear
