ANTIQUE FRENCH LIMOGES ENAMEL HUNTING SCENE VASE - An antique French Limoges vase in painted enamel on copper. Dated 19th century. Renaissance Revival style. Slender fluted trumpet neck rises from a bulbous body, raised on a spreading fluted foot. The neck is decorated in grisaille with a classical figure playing the lute, set among chandelier-form ornaments. The fluted sections at the neck shoulder and foot are painted in a contrasting white-on-black striped pattern.
