IMPERIAL RUSSIAN GOLD SAPPHIRE DIAMOND SET RING AND EARRINGS - An Imperial Russian three-piece jewelry suite comprising a ring and a pair of matching drop earrings crafted in silver-topped 56 zolotnik gold. Each piece centers an oval cabochon blue sapphire secured in a gold prong bezel, surrounded by a halo of rose-cut and old European-cut diamonds set in oxidized silver. The ring features additional accent diamonds set into the shoulders of a smooth gold band. The matching earrings are fitted with hinged gold lever-back ear wires. The inner ring shank and both earring wires are stamped with the Imperial Russian ”56” zolotnik hallmark alongside a Cyrillic maker's punch reading ”BC” - probably Vasyli Solovyov. tsarist, Romanov, demiparure, heirloom, estate, precious, fine, vintage, ornament, collectible.
